Father complex

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In psychology a complex is a group of unconscious associations, or a strong unconscious impulses. A father complex specifically pertains to a collection of associations about the archetype of the father. These impulses may be either positive (admiring and seeking out older father figures) or negative (distrusting or fearful).[1]

In Christianity, it might be condemnation to God who is innocent, just with the feeling of archetype "father". It is widespread aspect observed in many people, especially in men whose father was oppressive or powerful so they may desire or hate his will and action to them. As time passes, most of them become convinced that they don't need to exaggerate the influence from archetype "father" and become to admit it.
