"Fat City" is the second episode of the first season of the sitcom The King of Queens. It was aired on CBS on September 28, 1998.

After getting a photo album out, Arthur shows Doug a picture of Carrie's mother. Doug sees that her mother was overweight and Arthur tells him that everyone in that family got fat when they got older. He then tricks Carrie into going on a diet by saying that he would like to go on one.
