Fast files vista

Fast Files Vista is a freeware plugin for FAR manager.
It performs an instant search of Windows objects: files, folders, mail messages by their names or content. It uses software embedded in Microsoft Windows Vista or Windows Desktop Search 3.0 for Windows XP.
Fast Files Vista gained popularity with a story that happened on the official forum of Far manager. A group of people numerously tried to offensively steal the source code of the plugin. They were trying to use various law manipulations and a relationship with the development team of Far itself. The story became so well-spread, so now "Fast Files story" is sometimes used as a common name for such a case.
Nowadays author spreads plugin for free on his official home page.
