"Fast Train" is the first single by the Canadian rock band April Wine, from their 1971 self-titled debut album (See 1971 in music). The song was a top twenty-five hit in Canada, peaking at position 23 on the Canadian CHUM singles chart on June 26 that year.[1][2] It was the success of this single that first established Myles Goodwyn as the band's main songwriter, and made it possible for April Wine to record a second album.[3][4][5]
"Fast Train" appears on the movie soundtrack for Natural Enemy (1997),[3][6][7] a film staring Donald Sutherland and William McNamara.[8]
