[edit] Welcome
Welcome to Wikipedia. To find out how to make useful contributions, take a look at the welcome page. To stay in Wikipedia, an article has to be about something notable, that is, of general interest. Click on Notability for an explanation of what that means. Also, it must give independently verifiable sources. Articles that don't meet these requirements are likely to be deleted. Follow the links below to learn more:
- To find out more about creating articles, read the Introduction and the Guide to creating your first article.
- You should not write articles about yourself, your band, or your best friend - that's a conflict of interest.
- Wikipedia is not an advertising service. Before writing about your own business, read Business' FAQ.
- For experiments, please use the sandbox.

I have turned your article Financial Counselorinto a redirect to Financial adviser, as this topic is covered in this existing article. Before planning a new article, it is worth checking whether Wikipedia already covers the subject - with over 2,000,000 articles, it quite likely does! Follow the links in the Welcome paragraph above for more useful advice about contributing. --Joe Sperrazza (talk) 17:39, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Financial Counselor do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Additionally, I believe this same topic is covered by Financial adviser. I suggest this page be replaced with a redirect page. --Joe Sperrazza (talk) 17:33, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
