[edit] Dates Settled and Incorporated as a Village and a City

According to the Dakota County Historical Society, the village of Farmington was founded 1854-1856, and incorporated in 1872. All incorporated villages in Minnesota were reclassified as cities on 1 Jan 1974, by legislative act. 76.102.31.185 (talk) 18:40, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
