Talk:Faraday Hall

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I see no difference from almost all the other examples left standing in the category Category:Halls_of_residence_in_the_United_Kingdom - e.g. Rees Hall, Glen Eyres hall are just two I've randomly picked that are no clearer in their notability?

I intend this to give information for prospective students, advice would be appreciated.

Simon

Hi Simon, as the person who proposed deletion I'll also have to concur with the merge (a redirect to Loughborough University). The precedent is the William Morris AfD; halls at Lufbra aren't notable in the same way as Oxbridge halls. I'll also declare than I'm an old Cayleyite from a few years ago, but that doesn't influence me in any way! You already have a Faraday website for your prospective students where you can put anything you like. Any additions of social events and hall committees will get deleted here anyway as too trivial (on a global scale). And if you think any other articles in that category are non-notable as well then be bold and redirect them too! All the best --Steve (Slf67) talk 01:13, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
