Farmington Public Schools is a public school district located in southeastern Michigan, in southern Oakland County. The school district serves more than 12,000 students from Farmington Hills, Michigan, Farmington, Michigan, and a portion of West Bloomfield, Michigan.

The school district is home to Harrison High School, North Farmington High School, and Farmington High School. One alternative high school: Farmington Central High School. Four middle schools: East Middle School, Warner Middle School, O.E. Dunckel Middle School, and Power Middle School. Thirteen elementary schools: Beechview Elementary School, Eagle Elementary School, Flanders Elementary School, Forest Elementary School, Gill Elementary School, Highmeadow Common Campus, Hillside Elementary School, Kenbrook Elementary School, Lanigan Elementary School, Longacre Elementary School, William Grace Elementary School, Wood Creek Elementary School, and Wooddale Elementary School. Two Early Childhood Centers: Alameda early childhood center and Fairview Early Childhood Center.

Farmington Public Schools are all accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement. Alameda and Fairview Early Childhood Centers are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
Farmington Public Schools students are tested through various approaches to measure student achievement. Standardized test include the MEAP (Michigan Educational Assessment Program) and nationally the ACT.
Farmington Public High Schools ranked among Newsweeks top 1,200 public high schools in the country based on number of advanced placement classes and graduating seniors.

Sixty-eight percent of teachers in the Farmington Public Schools District hold advanced degrees.

Harrison High School Football Coach John Harrington and the Harrison Hawks football team was honored by Nike for having one of the top 50 football programs in the country, USA.
North Farmington High School was inducted into the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame.
