Farm to Market Road 2978, or FM 2978, is a state highway in the U.S. state of Texas. Its southern terminus is at FM 2920 in Tomball and travels north to FM 1488 in rural Montgomery County. Known locally before designation as a part of Hufsmith-Conroe Road, it marks the western boundary of The Woodlands.
