[edit] Images from Wikipedia (and Wikimedia) — and "leeching"

Whilst browsing the FAQs to find official policy on image "leeching" (i.e. directly linking from another website to an image hosted on the WP or WM server), I found myself at this page, which seemed to be the most likely place, out of the available choices.

Do people agree that this was a sane bit of browsing (!) and that it would be worth putting a link in from this FAQ to wherever that data actually lives? And perhaps a sentence of summary? – Kieran T ^(talk) 23:09, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
