[edit] National Shrine of Saint Joseph
I have deleted National Shrine of Saint Joseph because it meets criteria for speedy deletion G12: it is a blatant copyright violation of http://www.shrineofsaintjoseph.org/. You can clearly see at the bottom of that external link "Copyright 2008. All rights reserved." which means we cannot use the text verbatim here at wikipedia. You can see at the bottom of every edit window text that says "Content that violates any copyright will be deleted.", so you should have had fair warning before creating that page. I hope you understand why your edit was inappropriate. I suggest, before starting another article, for you to take a look at WP:FIRST, and ask any questions you may have. I have also removed the link you added to Saint Joseph, because it doesn't meet WP:EL. The link does not give any more information about the subject of the article (i.e. the person Saint Joseph). Again, if you have any questions, I'd be glad to help, and I'd like to encourage you to become an active and productive wikipedian. Hope this message isn't harsh, because that isn't my intention. I just want to set you on the right path, while adding constructive criticism of where you have (hopefully) inadvertently broken our policies and guidelines. Hope this helps and good luck!-Andrew c [talk] 14:06, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
- One other thing, you may want to see WP:REDIRECT and WP:MOVE. You did not need to create two separate articles on the same topic, just because of capitalization problems. National shrine of saint joseph could have been moved and redirected to National Shrine of Saint Joseph. I know that is probably a bit complex for a new user, but I just wanted to mention it, and again, if you need more help, feel free to ask.-Andrew c [talk] 14:09, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
