The Umbrella Sequence is an Indie Pop band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. They use a variety of "Instruments" to create their unique sound; including guitars, laptops, drums, synthesizers, and Game Boys.

The band started in 2002 in Minneapolis with founding members Ryan Rupprecht, Ryan Masterson, Jacob Swogger, Aaron Hagebak, and Nick Sander.

The Umbrella Sequence have played with other bands such as The Starlight Mints, Tapes n Tapes, Of Montreal, The Advantage, The Klaxons and Cloud Cult. Also, they toured the UK around December, 2007 to January, 2008 [1]
