Fanny's father, Ethan Allen, was a theist. He wrote "Reason: The Only Oracle Of Man, A Compendious System Of Natural Religion" [1]. He considered reason to be the oracle to a God that he aknowledged. DLaub 10:38, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
