Fanwork

Fanwork is the collective term for all creative works based on the creations of fans of popular series. It is most often manifested in fan fiction and fan art, but can be anything where a fan creates something involving a series they enjoy. Other examples include AMVs, the act of cosplaying in costumes and other expressions of such fanwork, such as fangames.
