Lifestories: Families in Crisis was an American drama television series that premiered on HBO in America on September 19, 1992.[1]

Lifestories: Families in Crisis was an HBO series that deals with major issues involving individuals. Issues include a child molesting priest (played by Craig Wasson) terrorizing families, an anorexic (played by Calista Flockhart) trying to deal with her problems, a football player addicted to steroids (played by Ben Affleck), substance abuse by a teenager, homosexuality and bi-sexuality involving teenagers, a teenage girl who has an illegal abortion and dies, a girl who contracts AIDS and has to live with the disease, and homelessness in Phildadelphia and the major impact it has on a teenager. This series appeared on HBO for two seasons and featured many rising stars of movies and television such as Calista Flockhart, Ben Affleck, Ernie Hudson, Sam Rockwell and Claire Danes.[2]
