Its pure speculation, plan and simple. With no other sources, it is not worthy of inclusion. Considering the large amount of distrust of the US in the region, such speculation about its allies being unaffected by this cut needs a better source. Baegis (talk) 01:07, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

"Its pure speculation, plan and simple." There was no speculation at all in that section. Just a quote from a person professionally related to the situation and who one would suppose to have the technical authority/knowledge to make such comments. It wasn't taken from a discussion board. "With no other sources, it is not worthy of inclusion. " How many do you need? The information was taken from what appears to be an established news site. I rarely see multiple referencing in wikipedia. I appreciate that much of the information about this has been contradictory, but to make not mention of the suspicion surrounding it seems silly and biased. I think it should be kept, maybe changed to more explicitly present the information as coming from the man who said it. ScyllaMutt (talk) 01:06, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

There's a route map of the SEA-ME-WE 4 cable, which as far as I can tell is not the same as the FALCON cable which is the subject of this article. I completely agree, Mlc. The image is misleading, as the casual observer would assume this image depicts the subject of the article. It is useful insofar as it shows the submarine path it takes, which is quite similar to that of SEA-ME-WE 4; but it certainly implies the cable reaches to places, such as cities in india, that it does not.
