Falken Tires

Falken Tire is a brand of tires by Japanese Sumitomo Rubber Industries. They produced its first tire in 1983 and it wasn't until two years later that they began exporting their tires outside Japan, only to enter the US market in 1990.[1]
It was Ohtsu Tire and Rubber Company's flagship brand until the company's merger with the Sumitomo Group in 2003.[2]

The brand sponsor cars partipicating in a number of motorsport series including the domestic Super Taikyu series, 24 Hours Nürburgrings and drifting series such as Formula D and D1 Grand Prix.
