This user has grown tired of the ever-increasing bureaucracy on Wikipedia. In particular, this user notes with dismay the growing number of "contributors" who generate no actual content, but rather resemble Dolores Umbridge and/or Barney Fife in their zealous enforcement of their own personal interpretation of Wikipedia policies and guidelines. These self-appointed guardians of The One True Way (their own way, of course) appear to take great satisfaction in hectoring those contributors who do add content to the enclyclopedia. More and more the focus of Wikipedia is therefore evolving toward wikilawyering rather than expanding and improving the encyclopedia itself. The experience of editing Wikipedia is beginning to resemble being nibbled to death by a herd of rabid guinea pigs. In other words, it just doesn't seem to be much fun anymore, so this user has decided to go on indefinite Wikibreak as of September 30, 2007.

This user therefore may not respond to e-mails or notes placed on talk pages, but wishes the best of luck to those who remain and are actually focused on improving the content of the encyclopedia.

My handle is a word in the Irish Language that translates into English variously, but 'extensive', 'ample', and and 'plentiful' are three interpretations. (I do not speak Irish, although I am of Irish descent and would love to learn the language someday). The handle indicates my interest in making contributions to a wide range of articles on Wikipedia.

Please feel free to share your comments, suggestions, compliments or constructive criticism regarding my performance on Wikipedia on my talk page. If you prefer, you can e-mail me. Either way, in most cases I will reply on your talk page.
