I heard that FDU is not that great and is good at charging arm and leg for a crappy education in the name of beng a private college. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.192.120.136 (talk • contribs) 11:57, May 30, 2006 (UTC)
While FDU is not Harvard or Yale, the adjective "crappy" is undeserved. It has made great strides in recent years and some programs, such as Nursing and Clinical Psychology, have earned considerable distinction. The fact that FDU enrolls a large number of foreign students is proof enough that its reputation is better and that it has a more widespread favorable image than what the previous respondent might make make it out to be. As for costs, as with MOST private colleges, a considerable amount of the costs are paid out of tuition fees, so it has little choice but to charge what might seem exorbitant fees but are simply realistic.Alloco1 14:33, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
Take it from a psychology major at FDU, an excellent education is there to be had. The psychology department is excellent, the business school is great too, and my science courses were quite challenging. I had a fantastic experience.
FDU's Silberman College of Busines is also highly accredited; FDU's entrepreneurial studies program is the 7th best in the nation. "Contribs" refers to FDU as providing a crappy education? I belief "contribs" should learn how to spell "being" before he or she talks. PH, FDU Class of '10

Does anyone have any opinion about the program, its strengths, challenges, accreditation, reputation, faculties?
