Faisal Farooqui (born: 23 April) is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of MouthShut.com, a leading user-generated consumer review website.
According to the Economic Times, India's largest business newspaper, Faisal Farooqui pioneered the auto-rickshaw advertising in India[1]
According to the Wall Street Journal [2] websites such as Mouthshut.com and youtube are alternative channels for advertisers to get consumer feedback.
In an interview to CNBC available on YouTube.com, Faisal reveals that the inspiration for MouthShut.com came to him while he was at school at State University of New York at Binghamton. He reveals the reasons why he chose the name "MouthShut" for a platform that encourages consumers to voice their opinion [3]
In 2003, Faisal Farooqui was in the news when he presented a seminal finding and suggested the integration of CRM systems and Market Research. This was at the prestigious Technovate seminar of European Society of Market Research (ESOMAR), held in Cannes, France in [January 2003][4]
