Fairway Stakes

The Fairway Stakes is a Listed flat horse race in the United Kingdom for three-year-old thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 1 mile 2 furlongs (2,012 metres) on the Rowley Mile course at Newmarket in late May.
The race is named after Fairway, a racehorse who became the leading sire in Great Britain & Ireland four times during the 1930s and 1940s.
