Fairfield is a railway station in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the suburb of Fairfield, on the Hurstbridge railway line. Fairfield is classed as a Host Station and is in Metcard Zone 1. The station is located at the western end of the Station Street level crossing. Shops are located near the station.

The station consists of two side platforms, with access via Station Street. Platform 1 contains a large weatherboard building while platform 2 contains a small weatherboard building. A large Metcard machine is located at the entrance to platform 1, which is able to dispense most ticketing options available and also accept notes and coins. A small Metcard machine is located at the entrance to platform 2. A footbridge is located at the UP end of the station, whilst a disused signal box is also located at the DOWN end of the station.

Fairfield station opened on Tuesday, 8 May 1888, as Fairfield Park. It was later renamed to Fairfield in 1943. Fairfield was the former junction station for the Outer Circle railway line from 1891 to 1893,[1] and the APM Siding from 1919 to the 1990s.
