[edit] Faggot cell
"Faggot cell" is a term used for cells of Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia. This term is applied to these blast cells because of their numerous Auer rods. The accumulation of these Auer rods give the appearance of bundle of sticks from whence the cells are given their name.[1]
