Faegre & Benson (or "Faegre") is the largest law firm in Minnesota and one of the largest in the Midwest region.[2] The firm employs more than 500 lawyers throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. Faegre was established in Minneapolis in 1886 as Cobb & Wheelwright.

Faegre is also a member of two consortia of law firms that provide access to a national and worldwide network of commercial lawyers: The United States Law Firm Group and The World Law Group.
