From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I changed references from "Skynight" to "Skyknight" to correctly reflect the aircraft's official name according to:
- The company that built it
- U.S. Navy
- Air Force Historical Studies Office
- Respected author and researcher who's written numerous aircraft-related books, including one titled "Douglas F3D Skyknight (Naval Fighters Series No 4)"
- Prominent security information firm
- Google: 18,400 hits for "F3D Skyknight" versus 607 hits for "F3D Skynight", or 30 times more references to "Skyknight" than "Skynight"
