The technology in this book is dated but I found the story riveting and the book almost impossible to put down. I should note that my interest may have been influenced by my nostalgia for the “good old days” of computing not to mention a chance meeting I had with the author but if you can find a copy, it is well worth the read.

Sadly I have lost contact with Mr. Finch and as far as I know he has not published any subsequent novels. I would not be at all surprised if he were still writing but under a pseudonym.
