[edit] Summary

Description

A McDonnell Douglas Phantom FG.1 (F-4K) of No. 892 Squadron launching from the British aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal (R09), 1974/75. Note the massive reheat of the Rolls-Royce Spey engines, which used to buckle the decks of U.S. Navy carriers, when a F-4K was occasionally launched.
