Description

A McDonnell F-4B Phantom II (BuNo 150449) of fighter squadron VF-151 Vigilantes, Attack Carrier Air Wing Fifeteen (CVW-15), landing on the aircraft carrier USS Coral Sea (CVA-43) in 1967. The Phantom is armed with four AIM-9D Sidewinder and two AIM-7 Sparrow air-to-air missiles. The F-4B 150449 was lost to ground fire over Vietnam on 29 December 1967. The crew, Lt J.F. Dowd and Lt(JG) G.K. Flint, survived.
