Description

A 42nd Electronic Combat Squadron EF-111A Raven aircraft, background, and a 495th Tactical Fighter Squadron F-111F aircraft fly past the Rock of Gibraltar during Open Gate '89. Open Gate is a Joint Chiefs of Staff/NATO exercise designed to simulate air and sea power tactics required to keep the Straits of Gibraltar open during a crisis.
