Félix Pissarro

Félix Pissarro (1874-1897), the third son of Camille, born in Pontoise in the year of the first Impressionist exhibition. In his family he was also known as Titi.

Félix was a painter, etcher and caricaturist. His works, very early demonstrated great strength and originality. his father told that of all his artist sons, Félix undoubtedly had the most talent and promise of becoming a major artist.

At the age of 23, before he was able to even begin realising his full potential, Félix contracted tuberculosis and died in England.
