Féile na nGael (pronounced /fʲeːlʲə n̪ˠə ɲɛ̝̈ːəlʲ/ , Irish for "Festival of the Gaels") is Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) organisation based on an Irish festival held to promote Gaelic games of Hurling, Camogie and Gaelic Handball in which both boys and girls under 14 years of age from across Ireland represent their local GAA club in a competition. Its stated aim is to bond communities, forge friendships, provide educational opportunities and unearth new leaders.[1][2]

The competition hosts approximately 25,000 boys and girls each year with all 32 GAA counties represented along with teams from London GAA and Warwickshire GAA.

Féile na nGael states that its primary objective is to facilitate and enable personal, social and cultural development amongst young people with emphasis on cultural and community activities, leadership and training through sport.

Féile na nGael is a body recognised by the Gaelic Athletic Association as being major festival and being of great importance for the promotion of hurling, camogie and handball among the youth of Ireland. It is also supported by the Department of Education, Irish Sports Council and other Government bodies and cultural agencies.
