[edit] EyeBot
EyeBot is a bot designed to "see" images that aren't bit-for-bit. It helps to identify redundant images, copyright issues, and vandal images.

[edit] What it does
- Note: This section does not reflect the bot's current duties-- it's merely here as a rough overview.
- EyeBot is a Recent Changes patrolling bot that looks for changes to the Image: namespace.
- EyeBot tries to determine, based on where the image is linked, and more importantly, whether the image looks like another image.
- If it finds significant similarity, depending on the situation, it will take appropriate action.
- For example, potential copyright issues found by image search will be tagged as such.
- Reuploads of images for deletion images within a small timeframe will be tagged as well.
- It runs continuously (except, obviously, for maintenance).
[edit] Status
- The bot is under heavy development and is not currently ready for mainspace edits.
- Awaiting approval for userspace edits.
