The term 'extant' is frequently used on articles about missing TV shows, particularly Doctor Who. Is it worth broadening this article to mention that? --MartinUK 10:11, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
The definition given seems to be limited to manuscripts and quotations - do published works for which the manuscript is not found count as "extant"? --Random832 (contribs) 19:43, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
