Expresso is a Portuguese weekly newspaper. It was founded in 1973 by Francisco Pinto Balsemão and is very popular in the country, being considered as a newspaper of record. It belongs to Impresa, a Portuguese media conglomerate which is listed on the Euronext Lisbon stock exchange.

The Prémio Pessoa is a notable Portuguese award instituted in 1987 by the newspaper Expresso and the Unisys Company. It is one of the most reputed Prizes awarded in Portugal.
