[edit] History

Existend was formed in 2004 by founding members Dave Todd (vocals) and Stefan Blackwood (guitars), after being in several bands together previously.

2005 saw the entrance of Harry Griffiths (guitars), Sam Brown (drums), and Michael Redman (bass) and then 'born from the ashes of Terminal Illusion, Psycho Logical and the former Existend, a new force appeared. Fuelled by riffs, double-pedals and lightning fast solo's, Existend.'

Mid 2006, Dave left the band to attend University, and after much auditioning for vocalists, the band found a replacement on October 20th 2006. Ant Leathwood now joined the fold, and with his first gig being at the Sheffield City Hall supporting Saxon in January the next year, the pressure was on. The gig was a great success, despite the band playing the songs at a much higher pace than they intended due to much excitement. The band played a few more local gigs soon after to ensure word was spreading about the new vocalist, and each gig has a pleasing turnout.

Towards the end of April 2007 Michael Redman left the band. The band continued work on their debut album without a replacement.

Late May 2007, the as yet untitled album is still in the process of recording.
