[edit] about the name IOKA

My mother (who grew up in Exeter and presumably heard this from her mother who would have been an adult at the time the IOKA theater was built) always claimed that the story of the naming of the IOKA theater is included in the book "Peyton Place" (which I have never read), and that is that the man who painted the theater was named "Kelly" and he disappeared before he ever got paid for the job. Thus, "IOKA" is supposed to mean "I Owe Kelly All" - whether this is was a myth or just an old joke I don't know, but what is the source for the story about a contest to name the theater? That story sounds just as fishy to me. :-) Thomas144 (talk) 19:41, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Pictures

Every picture on the page is from the early 20th century... does anyone have any more recent pictures? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.154.11.141 (talk) 04:54, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

I live in Exeter and can take a current picture, or alternatively, if it's allowed, someone can get a picture from the town of Exeter website. Beancounter603 (talk) 12:30, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
