Talk:Evil (Interpol song)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
On the page, it says it was on the Yahoo! Top 25 Scaryiest Videos. The link is here, http://music.yahoo.com/promos/halloween/ , and it isn't on the list, so yeah.
Another way of categoring this? --Jingofetts 19:31, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
I think it might be best to categorize this another way--I came here looking for the Earth, Wind, and Fire song, and I know there's a Howlin Wolf song titled "Evil" also.--Unsigned 21:23, 29 July 2007
Is it okay for me to add the song lyrics to this page? I have, but if anyone has any objections, pleae remove them. The-Doctor 12:07, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
i found this
ok i can tell you that "Evil" is a song about a road near where Paul was born in clacton about 20 mins drive from where i live. and there are 2 roads in clacton called "rosmary." Theres "rosmary" and Rosmary west" and if you are to go to rightat the end of "rosmary road" it leads to to the sea frount/ beach. hence the lyric- "right will take you places yeah maybe to the beach" this is what i think the song is about, i beleive it is about where he was born, and where one of his relatives still lives (i think its his nan) and apparently still revisites her occasionly. this is my view on the interpritation of the song, i believe its about the killings on rosmary road west in clacton. im sure others people will interpriate it in their own way but after spending a lot of time there i think this is the most logical answer. thank you. http://www.interpolnyc.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=16208 threr are other sugessted meanings. have fun
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Interpol - Evil cover.jpg
Image:Interpol - Evil cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:58, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
