Evelyn Dennison Hone (1911-1979) was the last governor in Northern Rhodesia from 1959-1964.
Northern Rhodesia became independence in 1964 as Zambia, of which Hone was a great contributor to.
He died in September 1979.[1] Evelyn Hone College in Lusaka was later named after him.[2]
