Talk:Eustress

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This seems all very unscientific. And by the way, marriage as a form of eustress? Not to all people. Some would rather quote a fulfilling one-night stand (but this is an anglosaxon medium) ;-) Also competing proficiently in a sport activity. Seems to me eustress is in the process rather than the result.

If the classification is based on stressors, and if one stressor can be beneficial to one and threatening to another, then how can we call it "eu" or "dis"? On what basis? There is a clear understanding of stress in the terms management and mismanagement! When a stressor is managemed well it becomes eustress and when mismanaged it becomes disstress[Cf. SUPERLIVING:Dr. Shriniwas Kashalikar]! In fact that is why mankind is exploring various ways of stress management! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.169.49.153 (talk) 04:53, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
