I was augmenting this article and decided to rename it as it was becoming more about the trophy than the badge of honour.

A question: where is the Cup Winners Cup now? Did Lazio keep it? Is it back in UEFA HQ?

A comment: Seems like Real Madrid get raw deal. If the current scheme was retrospectively applied, they would have won a second trophy in 2000: First for three-in-a-row, 1956-8; then second after next five.
