I was with the USAF stationed in Wiesbaden from July 1981 to July 1985 and lived on the former Lindsey Air Station. I worked in the nearby Wiesbaden suburb at the former 497th RTG (USAFE) located at Rheinstrasse 26. The compound that housed the former 497th was raised and housing units were constructed on the site. The period of time I spent in Wiesbaden was one of the greatest periods of my life.
