Village Voice critic Robert Christgau was commonly using the term in the late 1970s, so it obviously existed before 1981.
Well we are not talking about term Euro Disco in 1970 which probably meant European Disco, this article is about new styles of electronic dance music, that emerged in 1981, not about Disco. Vorash 09:55, 23 July 2005 (UTC)
