Description

Note: The colours in this en:map/en:image represent the en:linguistic majority(!) in a region. For en:example.

In Northern Germany, en:Low Saxon dialects (or en:standard German dialects influenced by Low Saxon that previously were spoken there) are spoken, yet the en:majority of the people there speak standard German, a high German language, so the area is en:coloured as being dominantly High German.
