Eurypteurus remipes is an extinct species of sea scorpion of the late Silurian period, inhabiting muddy bottoms about 420 million years ago, in what is now the United States.
Like most Eurypterids, E. remipes had a sharp needle-like telson, probably used in combat.
The species is the state fossil of New York.
