European route E13 is part of the International E-road network. It runs most of the length of the M1 motorway in the United Kingdom (which runs from West Yorkshire through to the its southern terminus in London). The E13 number does not appear on any road signs along its route, and is not recognised by UK authorities. Since the UN conventions are not "world laws", just agreements between nations which are part of the UN, one could say that this European route does not exist.
The E13 follows the route Doncaster – Sheffield - Nottingham – Leicester – Northampton – Luton – London, and is 230 km (145 miles) long.
