The European Worm Lizard (Blanus cinereus) is a legless reptile in the family Amphisbaenia.

The B. cinereus is a burrowing species, which is common among the amphisbaenia family. Unlike other species it can often be found underlogs and rocks, especially after storms. It is found in South West Europe, in and around[clarify] Spain and Portugal.

Like other other amphisbaenia the B. cinereus it feeds on worms and other small insects.
[edit] Size
The B. cinereus will grow up to 4-8in (10-20cm).
