At the end of World War II only airlines from the victorious countries were allowed to fly in and out of Berlin, those countries were Great Britain, France, the USSR and the United States. In order to compete with the airlines of other western nations, France with the cooperation of Air France and Lufthansa started Euroberlin France, The airline began services with Boeing 737-300 aircraft linking Berlin with Cologne, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Stuttgart.

The fall of the Berlin Wall and the reunification of Germany made Euroberlin redundant wince now Lufthansa could fly in and out of Berlin. Euroberlin dropped the 'France' from its name in 1990 and flew charters on behalf of Lufthansa until its disolution in October 1994. [1]
