[edit] Photoshop CS2 Tips

[edit] Tip 1

If you use Photoshop CS2 and try to reduce JPEG artifacts using the Reduce Noise filter, it will ruin the image. Instead, a MUCH better way is to use the Despeckle filter. While retaining as much quality as possible, using the Despeckle filter will remove from 50% to 90% of JPEG artifacts. Using the Reduce Noise filter will sacrifice a lot of image quality, and tends to only remove 20% to 50% of artifacts. ~~Eugene2x Sign here ~~ 01:51, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tip 2

If you want to resize an image, it's best to use the plugin Genuine Fractals. Bicubic filtering is only good for enlarging an image up to 200%. Unfortunately, Genuine Fractals is not free, so I will try to search for a free plugin that is similar to Genuine Fractals. ~~Eugene2x Sign here ~~ 02:01, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
