[edit] How much eugenol in spices

Does ordinary spice (cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, bay leaf, etc.) in an ordinary serving (around 1 tablespoon, not 1 teaspoon, have enough eugenol for any (even the tiniest) amount of anasthesia? Or does it have to be refined? This is not a druggy question, if that is what you're thinking. Chiss Boy 16:23, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] MDMA Precursor

Eugenol is listed on several clandestine chemistry websites as being useful as a precursor to MDMA, but I couldn't find a governmental or published reference to this. Reb42 (talk) 19:54, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
