Eugene Lockhart, Jr. (born March 8, 1961 in Crockett, Texas) is a former American football linebacker who played for nine seasons in the National Football League from 1984 to 1992. He played college football for the University of Houston. During his career with the Dallas Cowboys, he was nicknamed "Eugene the hitting machine". In 1989, he led the NFC with 222 tackles, and did not make the Pro Bowl, but he did make the All-Pro team.
